It's easy! Just put in the CDROM. In a second or two the installation wizard appears to guide you through the process.
Download the installation program file, (POSSETUP), from Rainier Systems web site at: WWW.RAINIERCOMPUTERS.COM. After downloading, double click the file to start the install wizard.
If you have not done so already, install the SmartRetailer program via the CDROM or internet install. Make sure the SmartRetailer is not running. Using windows explorer, locate the "winconv.exe" file found in the "C:\RCSPOS" folder. Double click the file to start the conversion. Specify the path to the DOS based version (usually C:\SR). Specify the path to the windows based version (usually C:\RCSPOS\RETAILER\DATA). Click the start button to begin the conversion. After the conversion is complete, close the conversion window and start the SmartRetailer. Your data should now appear.
